Hybrid mattresses tend to cost a bit more since they are made with more materials, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any great hybrid mattress budget options out there. The Allswell mattress is an affordable memory foam and innerspring hybrid mattress. This mattress has four layers, with each layer being either memory foam, poly foam, or coils. 

On the firmness scale, the Allswell leans more on the firmer side, but not firm enough to feel like a brick, which makes this mattress perfect for back and stomach sleepers. However, the Allswell may not be the best pick for you if you have arthritis or joint pain.

With two layers of poly foam focused on comfort and support, excellent motion isolation, and decent temperature regulation, this mattress is definitely a worthy budget option.

The Tuft and Needle Nod falls somewhere in the middle on the firmness scale, making very accommodating to any sleeping position and body type. Since the Nod is made for any sleeping position, it could work great as a guestroom mattress too.

Since we don’t all sleep the same, mattress options are always nice to have. The Dreamfoam Essential is a firmer memory foam mattress with five different thickness options to satisfy any sleeper type. This mattress has two layers of cooling gel memory foam and polyfoam, with the 12’’ and 14’’ options having an additional transition foam layer for a softer feel. 

While this mattress does have five different thickness options, keep in mind that the Dreamfoam Essential is more of a firm – medium mattress. Side sleepers should be able to sleep just fine on the thicker options, but this mattress is definitely a solid option for back and stomach sleepers.
